Nicasa is a non-profit, behavioral health organization providing prevention, education, early intervention, treatment, and recovery services for individuals, families, and communities in Lake County, Illinois and the surrounding area.

Founded in 1966, Nicasa is a nationally-recognized leader in the field of substance abuse prevention and treatment, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles through advocacy, training, and educational programming.

Nicasa knows that substance abuse and addiction are not isolated issues. Multiple factors contribute to and result from alcohol and drug use. Whether you or someone you know needs knowledge or skills to avoid substance use or abuse, has begun to experiment with alcohol or other drugs, has received a DUI, or has become isolated by addiction, we can help. We are dedicated to providing quality services in a compassionate and caring atmosphere that preserves the dignity and respect of each person.
